"How can I pay?"
We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, and e-cheques. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance. Regarding e-cheques, please understand that I cannot ship items until the payment clears.
"Is your site secure?"
Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship your order when it is ready. We get your money through PayPal later.
"Do I need a PayPal account to buy?"
No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account. You may sign in as a "Guest" and do not need a Paypal account. However, after a certain number of Guest sign-in's, Paypal will require you to create an account to continue to use their services. If this is problematic for you, please contact me and we can discuss another payment method.
"I'm a blogger/reviewer/writer. Can you give me perfumes so that I can do a review on your product?"
Sorry, I do not give away free product unless I am hosting a giveaway or special promotion. I have been scammed too many times in giving away free items for no review or very little promotion. Any emails asking for free items will be ignored.
"My order hasn't arrived. Where is it?"
First, please view your order confirmation and check if the shipping address is correct. If you are an international customer (not in CANADA), delivery is usually 5-15 business days after the shipping date. Be aware that there is no tracking number for international orders, unless you made previous arrangements with me for Priority shipping. Your parcel may have been delayed due to Customs, and I have no control over that. Or you may be required to pay a VAT through your local postal office, in which case you will need to contact them to pay the Customs charge.
However, If your order has not arrived within four weeks after the shipping date, please contact me and I'll see what can be done! I kindly ask that you contact me first to resolve the situation, before opening a Paypal dispute.
"I want to test your perfumes in-person. Do you have a brick-and-mortar store or can I drop by to try your perfume? Can I pick up my order at your location?"
Sorry, at this time I do not have a physical store, and because my studio is in my personal home, I do not allow customer visits. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
"I own a shop and would like to carry your perfumes, do you do consignment?"
If you are interested in carrying Sarawen Perfumes at your brick-and-mortar shop, please message me. Only Canadian consignment requests are considered.
"Do you do wholesale? I want a wholesale discount."
Sorry, unless we've had a previous working relationship on past projects, I do not offer wholesale or wholesale discounts at this time. I run the the business solely. As such, I'm limited on my production capabilities, and my base material costs do not support wholesale pricing.
"One of the bottles is broken in my order!"
I do my best to pack orders as carefully as possible within Small Packet shipping limits, but if this happens, please send me a message and I will look into sending you a new bottle! In some cases I may ask to see a photo of the broken item(s).
